As British designers, we are committed to supporting local manufacturers, suppliers and fellow artisans. We believe the UK is home to some of the world's leaders in these areas and as such, when possible, our approach is to always buy British.
All of our designs are handmade, with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship. This is something we are extremely proud of and we actively seek out partners who share these same values.
For example, our hardwood timber supply is fully sustainable and traceable with a clear chain of custody. The Wiltshire-based timber merchant we partner with is a member of Grown in Britain, as well as being FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certified. This enables us to ensure that, whereever possible, we use the best British hardwoods we can source, which protects British forests and maximises my contribution to the UK economy.
All of our products are either entirely made in, or, where we partner with other local artisans, hand finished in our own workshop. This means it can take a little longer to receive your items (sometimes up to 4-6 weeks). This is due to my uncompromising pursuit of the best finish to the end product. We believe quality is worth taking time over and we hope you do too.
